Grants Pool

Grants takes the name from one Grant Woollard who as a boy in short trousers, landed a sizeable fish whilst fishing with his parents at Kinkell some forty years ago. There is a photograph in the main hut which records this event. The pool has not been fished much as access to this remote section of the beat is at best awkward, but we are currently working to improve access to this pool. It did gain some popularity for while a few years ago when Scott McDonald landed a fish of 30lb+ there.
